I work with homeowners who are building, renovating, or adding onto their home. My role is to ensure your home is both beautiful and functional—designed with intention, quality, and a deep respect for its architectural character.

What I Do:

  • Custom Home Design – Full home design from the ground up, working in collaboration with your builder.

  • Home Renovations & Additions – Transforming existing spaces with thoughtful, well-integrated design solutions.

  • Kitchen & Bath Design – Crafting high-functioning, timeless kitchens and bathrooms tailored to your needs.

  • Exterior & Interior Hard Finish Selection – Everything from roofing, siding, and windows to tile, lighting, and millwork.

  • Space Planning – Ensuring floor plans work harmoniously with how you live (including furniture layouts).

Project Budget Minimums:

  • New Construction: Starting at $700,000+ (average $900K–$1.2M)

  • Whole-Home Renovations: Starting at $200,000+ (average $400K)

  • Kitchen Renovations: Starting at $80,000+ (average $120K)

  • Bathroom Renovations: Starting at $40,000+ (average $75K)

Design Fees:

  • My design fees are billed hourly at $125/hour. Based on our initial consultation, I will provide a good estimate of the amount of hours needed to produce the design for your project (typically fees range from 8-12% for renovations/additions, and 3-5% for new construction), however the time spent in the execution phase can vary based on changes in scope and potential revisions.

  • A signed contract and design fee retainer are required to book your project.

  • It is possible that a structural engineer or Architect may need to be consulted for your project; their fees would be outside of our design contract.

I collaborate closely with your chosen builder (and Architect if applicable) throughout the process, ensuring that every decision aligns with the overall vision. My goal? To make this experience smoother, more enjoyable, and ultimately, to create a home that feels deeply you.

Full Service Project Design

New builds: Create a fully custom home plan from scratch, edit an existing floor plan, or consult on your own architectural plans.

Renovations: Space plan and generate full renovation and/or addition plans. Custom kitchen and bath remodeling design & planning.

Hourly Consultations

Need a bit of professional advice but not ready to start the whole process? Hourly expert consultations are available on a limited basis at $250/hour. Consultations are great for furniture layouts, assistance with art placement and accessories, or general project advice before you are ready to sign on for a full renovation or home build.

Process

Every great design starts with a great process. Here’s how we’ll work together:

Step 1: The Consultation
We’ll start with a conversation about your goals, budget, and timeline. This is where we make sure we’re a good fit and outline the scope of your project.

Step 2: Design Agreement & Contract
Following our consultation, I will draft a design agreement and contract based on the scope of work we discussed. Once the contract is signed and a retainer is secured, we move into the design phase.

Step 3: Concept & Planning
Once we move forward, I’ll dive into research, space planning, and conceptual design. We’ll explore ideas through drawings, sketches, and materials. This phase sets the foundation for everything that follows.

Step 4: Design Development
Here’s where things get exciting. I’ll refine the designs, select materials and finishes, and ensure every detail aligns with your vision. We’ll review drawings, elevations, and selections together, making adjustments as needed.

Step 5: Construction Collaboration
I’ll work closely with your builder and architect, reviewing plans, answering questions, and ensuring the design is executed as intended. This includes site visits, troubleshooting, and making any necessary refinements along the way.

Step 6: Final Details & Completion
Once construction is complete, I’ll do a final walkthrough to make sure everything looks and functions beautifully. And then? You get to settle in and enjoy your new home!
